Hello and welcome from the members of the Carolina Shaggers Shag Club. Our club is a
nonprofit social club for singles and couples age 21 and over. Our organization is based in
the Lumberton , Robeson County , North Carolina area, but our shagging membership
extends many miles in each direction.

Our purposes are to enjoy beach and shag music, Carolina shag dancing, and fun with
friends. Guests are always welcome to attend our meetings and events. As you find out
more about shaggers, shagging, and our shag club, we hope you will want to join our group.

North Carolina Shag License Plates

The North Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles will allow the issuance of a personalized license plate
for Shaggers. Once 300 applications have been received, the process of design and numbering will
begin. SOS Board Member Dwayne Baggett of FASA is heading up this endeavor. Applications should be
available at the August dance. All you will need to do is fill out an application and pay the $15 fee. It will
probably take several months to get the plates issued, but it will be work the wait. If you have any
